I'm seeing some that didn't make it on my list but man it was hard to leave them off...Led Zepplin III and Physical Graffiti (This album personally got me through some tough times and I would have included it on my top twenty except for the unbelievably long and utterly boring Kasmir...that song was bad enough without seeing Jimy Page playing alongside P. Diddy) and the other one that almost made it was the Allman Brothers live from the Fillmore East (Whipping Post was the third song they played during the reception of our wedding after we danced to Harvest Moon by Neil Young and Thank You by Led Zepplin)

Damn, there are some good listings above, but I am just more into blues/jazz/and saloon music!

Forgot Louis Prima and Keely Smith....just about anything!

Also like most blues artist and just love Billie Holliday music. Etta James, Tina Turner, Edith Pifaf among others!

How can you leave Johnny Cash and George Strait off any list, and Randy Travis, oh and David Allen Coe, Jerry Jeff Walker and Kinky Friedman!>??!?

Music appreciation covers a wide range and I have never heard anything that can replace Ole Blue Eyes Frank Sinatra for clairity and quality! But really dig Nat King Cole as well....rambling now, go smoke a cigar and have a drink! OK

Hey 8track, do they still make albums? I laughed when you said you went through your 8track collection then I realized....I still have a handfull of 8tracks that have never been opened, wrapped in plastic. And I still have an 8 track player. I guess I can sell them as antiques soon.

Uncleb,

So, you have ABBA slated above KC & The Sunshine Band? Glad you gave it some thought. I can live with that decision 🙂

John Hay,

No albums. But the worst 8track ever- Styx Paradise Theatre. Not because of the music, but because 3 songs got cut in half. Hated that, it really ruined my mood- rolling down the highway in my 81 white, rusted, Honda Civic. I had the world by the ass.

Had a hard time getting the ladies though.. Go figure.

(Maybe it was my Kraco Power Booster).
