In Texas they have one of the last "true" republicans in Congressman Ron Paul. I often visit his site:

http://www.house.gov/paul/

I know there are many that post here who are right of center politically and wondered if there are other fans of this dying breed of patriotic politicians.

He refuses to toe the line with all the other weak kneed so-called republicans who sell us down the river of communism/fascism everyday in what is left of the USA.

Paul is actually a Libertarian, which I think most "true" conservatives are and just don't know it. We could certainly use mroe like him.

Then a libertarian is what they now call a fiscal republican because he is the ONLY one truly serious about not screwing our children and grandchildren by selling America down the river of insolvency.

You go that right.

I was a died in the wool (is that how you say it?) republican until the party left me.

I'm still in the same place I was. I do think libertarian is a much closer fit now.

Most Republicans do not realize how much in common they have with the other "libs" lol.
