I have a brother in law that teaches school here in VA, 3 graders.

I salute all teachers, that is a real job! Also a real responsibility.

Thank you, I appreciate the acknowledgment. I teach 6th grade with the Sacramento City Unified School District. My wife and daughter are also teachers at the same school. They teach 5th and 2nd respectively.

Teaching is a second career for me (and my wife). I am about to finish my 8th year in the field of education, while she has been teaching for 10 years. I guess I enjoy teaching so much, because for fifteen years I hated working as a management person in the insurance industry.

Our daughter is a rookie, only 3 years under her belt:)

My hat off to teachers... A great investment if the future and 3 grade is a wonderful age!!!! Maybe we can get together someday for a smoke.
