Dudes and Dudettes. What's all this newbie crap about? Assuming a newcomer to this bb is a newcomer to the fine pastime we all share in common is a flagrant foul! Freethrows AND the ball, I say. I am: 40, divorced, 3-4 handicapper, working too hard, getting paid too little, and a proclaimed nut about this "hobby". I'd always smoked on the golf course - bought whatever was in the pro-shop. About 4 years ago, I picked up a box of Punch Dbl Corona on-line for a golf outing. The same site emails me back an offer for a box of cohibas (dominican) for <$100. So, out of ignorance, I bought thinkin I'd really impress the buddies. When they arrived, I didn't see anything special about them so I went surfin, stumbled across CA's counterfeit gallery and that was the beginning of my education. I vowed not to be "taken" again, which include gaffes like paying $20 for let's say a davidoff that delivered less than a $4 punch, etc. Since then, I've amassed an pretty nice inventory, and gotten more involved than most with the hobby -- caliberated hygrometers, did the deep-freeze to keep the beetles at bay, knew enough not to buy the "cuban" cohiba robustos in Negril JA cigar shops(lime color stamp not forest green - courtesy of cigar nexus), etc. etc. etc. I certainly don't purport to know everything, or even close, but I isn't a dumb-ass neither. Go ahead and axe me any question you want.
