If you were going to retire in two months and blow your first pension check on a box of cigars -- and the list included Cuban cigars but the check wasn't big enough to buy one of the boxes they're selling out of Winston Churchill's closet -- what would you go after?

Hmmmmm. I don't think Double Happiness Tranquility. Maybe Lone Wolf. . . No, let me think about this for a while and get back to you . . .

I don't have enough experience with ISOM's to make a good recommendation. I'd say go for Padron Anniversarios, maduros.

Montes, or Partagas, and R&J's have been the most consistant for me.

Ashton VSG Sorceror.

The single best cigar that I have ever had. Better than the Cuban Bolivars (which were good) or the Padron Anniversarios (which were okay).

I keep thinkin about that Perdomo La Tradicion I had the other night. I need a box of those. Dark brown, oozing oil. Great smoke.

Cal,Have U tried the VSG Enchantment? So far It's my fav VSG,IMHO. I have some torps coming so that may change. PAM's,to me are better than OK. The Torp IMHO, is one of the best out there.I just wish they didn't cost so much $. Haven't tried the Boli's. I will at some point in time. X
