MACS(SW),
I got a cattle-prod at the local feed store a couple of months ago and I gotta tell you, it virtually eliminated the "terrible 2s". LOL! Okay not really, but we taught/teach them sign language and that has virtually eliminated the terrible 2's. Instead of getting a barrage of whining I get a barrage of words and signs specifically spelling out exactly what the problem is and what is required to fix it. Having recently been around my 3-year old nephew who stands at the pantry going "WHHAAAAAAA..." as his mom holds up each item, one at a time, until he sees what he wants and quits whining I must say that sign language is truly a blessing. It is so nice to be told "I am hungry and thirsty. Can I please have a cup of water and a banana?"
BTW - Contrary to what my brother thought, this will NOT make them deaf...
