I took this from outside churchills, looking in. The open street market was taking place just outside the window where we were sitting. WHAT A SIGHT!!! You would be amazed at what some people would do for a few heads of lettuce!! There were a few times I felt somewhat guilty sitting in that big leather chair, enjoying the finer things in life. I guess we all play the hand we are delt the best way we know how. Within minutes a front loader was brought in and you would have never known this went on. Pretty neat to see. It sure made me appreciate my meager little life.

Actually, we only pointed out the aftermath of the open market to Keith and Kari. When its going full swing, the "pushcart" vendors wrap around a 300' block of buildings selling every produce, meat and fish imaginable. But come the end of the day on Saturday, they clear out and leave the goods they haven't sold that won't last until the following week. Its an incredible site and brings out the scrap pickers in a big way. It takes a small army of sanitation workers and a huge front end loader to clean up the mess......

That's Haymarket, and it IS the place to go to get your fresh produce. All kinds of people shop there.

Boston kick ass. Its a small city but it has alot going on. I have spent a few innings at the Cask & Flagon and a few nights at the Black Rose.

Go around the corner to Haymarket Pizza.

Get a slice of heaven for cheap.
