Music is allowed in the labor and delivery room to help us ladies relax while having contractions so I went out and bought a portable cd player that not only plays regular cds but also cd write cds and mp3s. Then I bought some cd write cds and went through all my music on my computer and made a list of all the music that I would really enjoy listening to and then put them in categories - romantic/love/mushy stuff - the songs that have meaning to Clive and I especially, misc type music - like a couple GNR songs lol, comedy/humor so I can do some laughing to relax and relaxation/meditative/mood type music. So, I was wondering what kind of music everyone listens to when they want to relax or calm down etc.

Labor/delivery etc can last 16-24 hrs lol - I'm hoping for a lot less but it can last a long time I just want to be prepared plus as the contractions get worse my moods are going to change and having a wide variety of music won't hurt lol.
