Yup, had one done at the V.A. It sucked! I slept less than I normaly did, with all the wires tangleing you up.
The crap they put in your hair to stick the electrodes on with is like putty. Took forever to get it out.
The room was dead quiet. I can't sleep in quiet places. Every little noise I hear wakes me up. It's a momento from my time served Vietnam. Even my snoreing or heavy breathing wakes me up if it's quiet.
I can't sleep on my back because of apnea.
I also can't stand anything on or near my face. Let alone that f@#king thing they wanted me to stick up my nose and wear on my mouth and nose.
Got no relief from my study. Good luck to those that did.
I'd drink myself to sleep, but I'd be afraid of rolling over on my back and dying without a cigar in my mouth.
I envy all of you that can sleep through anything and get a full nights restful sleep. It's been 30+ years for me. Yawn!
