to the great state of Minnesota. Not far, just over the river from Fargo. Can't wait... The fiancee and I are going to shack up until we are married at the end of October.

I will be offline for a bit. My T1 won't be ready until mid week next week. So... until then, hope y'all have a good one!

Have fun with that Jay. I hate moving so much that I have taken crappy duty stations here in California, so I didn't have to move. I've been here since 1991 (except for a year I did in Greece and deployments of course) and even when I retire I plan on staying in this expensive, traffic-congested, liberal-infested money pit, just so I don't have to pack up and move.

Did I mention that I hated moving?

Good luck with the move. I hear there is an awesome bunch of cigar smokers up there in MN.

All the way to Minnesota? Holy cow.

I lived in Fargo in 1988. It flooded that year, and we lived a block of the Red River. They built a **** in the road that ran in front of our apartment building - ours was a garden level. We thought is was terribly funny to call people up and say, "Hey, there is a great big **** in the road just out our window!" Ah, to be 19 again.

Good luck with your move!

Yes Andy, I do hate to move. But I could do it one more time on Uncle Sam's dime if I wanted to...

My wife and son have lots of friends here. THEY don't want to leave. If I leave the Navy right at 20, the kid will be off to college and the wife will go wherever I do, but I sure do hate moving.

If I do end up leaving here, I will keep my house and rent it out. If I ever wanted to come back, there is no way I could afford a house here in Cali. Hell, I couldn't afford to buy my house right now! Good thing I got it 5 years ago.

I hate moving people.

I've moved "myself" ONCE.....everthing I owned in a Volkswagen Bus.
