Sorry Firechief....Not a fan of Raider nation!

One question for you, who is going to throw the football to those wide outs?

Go Chiefs!

Good question. Collins(not a big fan of) he can throw deep so between Moss(not a big fan of) and Porter and Curry (sleeper for fantasy) some one will grab it. Lamont Jordan should have a plus 1200 yard season. High total scores so take the over on all Raider games

I'm with Charlie - Chiefs Chiefs Chiefs!

Now, if the defense can hold the opposition to less than 30 points a week, it could be a good year.

Raiders QB... Hmmm. Todd Marinovich? How's he doing?

;)

Raiders are looking very strong this season, the only thing that's got me a little worried are the line backers..

bully says....

"Raiders are looking very strong this season"

As compared to who? Themselves last year?

The team with THE WORST rushing attack in the league. So they get a new runner, (a career 2nd stringer no less) same line so its a new guy that averages 1.2yds a carry....hmmmmmm, ok thats not the reason.

They get a new wide out. Arguably the best in the league...oh wait, same O line, same QB and ??? in the running game, ..(oh yeah, once he starts losing he's worthless) ok so THATS not the reason...

The same QB...ok no, not that either...

Bottom 5 D last year, absolutley CRAP against the run and they have LT and the Broncos in the division....no significant addtions...ok so THATS not it...

So tell me....HOW are they looking strong?

IMOFF....

Oh yeah..

Last I looked the Cowboys arent even in the same conference, let alone the same division. So why do they need to "look out" for a 5-11 team..(Wow 5-11, Im being generous)

Ok Dragon, Little aggresive with the threads. First I said the cowgirls becuase they play this season October 2 or 4th I'll be there. Now on to the other comments. Lamont Jordan Avg. 5.2 per carries. They probally have the best receiving core in the league Moss, Porter, and a up and coming star Curry. I will agree that they had a sub par D, but it can only get better. Last season they lost two or three games by very little and should have Pitt in week two. Collins has had a few good seasons he was a Pro-bowler, went to the super Bowl and even got a few DUI's. I can't agrue that the raiders pick up players that have difficult personalities, but it must work they do have the highest winning percentage in NFL history. They have strengthen there D, going back to a 4-3. And last but not least most of the critics have said the best two free agencies pick ups where #1 Moss, #2 Jordan. I guess we will just have to wait and see. I do appreciate your passion for the game but we are still BOTL. Take care and write soon, Jeff

Good luck with moss. He destroyed our team in Minny and he will in Oakland eventually to. Maybe not this year, but just give him time.

IMOFF..

All tongue and cheek my BOTL..no aggression or malice intened, Im just a smart ass...ANYWHO

Those questions where actually pointd at bullwinkle, but Im glad you answered.

I live here in Raider Nation (No, I am NOT a 49er fan nor a Raidor fan but I guess that goes without saying) and hear a lot of BS from Raider Nationalists about how they will fare in the coming season and a large percentage arent real fans enough to retort to my questions in the intellegent, well thought out manner in which you have.

Now some quick retorts to you replies...Which will just reiterate what I said above.

Lamont Jordan will be running behind a much inferior line in Oakland. And playing for a team that must find a ground game mentality.

Yes, Kerry Collins had some pro bowl seasons, but did not get there by chucking the ball 40 yards downfield on a reguylar basis.

Yes they have talented wideouts. As long as they win and Moss gets his ctaches they will be ok.....If not...trouble.

They didnt addresd the D issues enough.

The Dragons forecast... 8-8 tops

Smoke um all

Going to go fire up a Boli Fuerte now. Its finally dipped under 80 degrees at 9:27pm

Fair, i do think their O line is good Gallery, Sims, Adam treu is all right at center. Ron Ston still good, Badger sub par, Teyo johnson is good (started over Jolly which was traded for a first round pick). Good full back in Zack Crocket. When Collins mad the pro-bowl from chucking the ball 40 yards down field...he didn't half the talent the Raiders have this year...... That's Turner style throw long then pound it up the middle with a big fast back. I will agree I don't like the lower class fans that have little respect for the other teams fans, I grew up watching the Raiders in L.A. and I am Loyal. I like other Teams But I live for the Raiders. Dragon I will be in Oakland for the Dallas game we should get together and smoke a few. Write back and take care, Jeff
