We all have had to see them when the wife says, "rent something I will like"! Or "How about a nice movie that isn't a thriller or shoot em up"! It is hard to name a few, but I am going to try and do so:
1. "As Good as it Gets", "When Harry Met Sally", "Michael", "Sleepless in Seattle" and one that the guys should like would be "For Love of the Game"! In honor of this post I will smoke something light, like a Macanudo Portifino (if I can find one)!

I thought of "As Good As It Gets" immediately when I saw the title of your post ... for a chick-flick, that one really IS as good as they get, IMNSHO ...

I have a copy of "The Hot Spot". I even bought the soundtrack. That movie is indeed a feast for the eyes.

That's the other kind of "chick flick". Back to the original question, I'd have to say "Life as a House" was a good movie. Why is it when we guys say we'll "compromise" on a show we somehow always end up in a chick flick? The latest show I saw with my wife - "About a Boy". I think it's time for "Minority Report" or "Bourne Identity".
