Gonz, this board needs a miscellaneous forum. All these non-cigar posts are fun and usually get the most action, but let's face it, you can scroll down a long way without bumping into anything with tobacco in it. I sacrificed a tissue wrapped La Rosa Especial this morning after my tacos de carnes con cilantro y cibollas. Good, but not going to be my go-to. A tad harsh on the end. Maybe I should have taken the tissue off first.

Like most less expensive cigars, the LREs need to age a bit, this has become one of my everyday faves. Sorry for the non-cigar posts, but I'm a man of catholic interests. Your Misc. post Forum idea is a good one. If Gonz starts one, I promise to dump my brain droppings there.

Problem with a Misc. category is that it would become a "junk bin" ... if you've ever established a Misc. file in your file cabinet, you know that from experience ... if there is a need for a defined category, I say go for it, but skip the "junk bin", it would only encourage junk (if you build it, they will come).

Jreddoch and Eleltea: would the La Rosa Especial that you are referring to be the Trinidad? A local shop got some of these in and they are going for a pretty decent price. I bought one to try, but now I see that you guys recommend some humi time to bring out their goodness. If not, has anyone out there had the Trinidad? If they are good, I would like to buy the rest of the box to put down for some aging. Opinions anyone?

Haven't tried the Trinidad. The Habana Royale is my favorite.

Mi Favorita Maduros are my favorite!...very tasty!!
