This is a line of copies of Cuba's top selling cigars.
Although some of the lines have some Habano tasting notes,one would never mistake them for Cuban's.
That being said,these are a most XLNT line.
Today I had a BBF copy and it was supoib.
Great construction,perfect burn and a nice mix of spice and pepper. X

IMO, the Bolivar beli is superb & so is the RASS.
Gotta let 'em dry out a bit though (couple of days).

The Sancho Panza Belicoso was a surprising replication.

All cigars belong to this line have distintive taste and smell( I like it, so I like cigars also...)
You do not have to think about FCB's as imitations. As these are not imitations. These are quality cigars. Just think of them as regular cigar. And now thinking of them as regular cigar try to compare them with what you know is close to them.
I was trying to compare and was not able to find anything alike in the same price range. Can anyone with experience (in this field )make such a comparisson?

I bought a couple of fivers: The PSD4 and RASS.

The PSD4 is one of my favorite Cubans. The CFB was nothing like it. Not even a very good cigar.

The CFB RASS was a very good cigar.

The CFBs have the Cuban look, smell, and feel. But no one who smokes Cubans every now and then would mistake it.

Bottom line: I will try some of the others and may find a few (like the RASS) that are worth buying.

What I was trying to say is to compare these with other cigars NC pricewise and you will notice that they are hard to beat. Besides, you might not like whole the line as they have different taste, nevertheless you might find 1 or 2 from this line which you may like.
Why would you want to compare them with Cubans? You wanna smoke Cubans than buy Cubans... that is simple.

With our détente with Cuba, I expect Cuban cigars to become available soon. What will be done about all the brand names that the US allowed to be copied?

Cohiba, Sancho Panza, Romeo y Julieta, H. Uppmann, etc etc etc. What a mess!

I expect Altadis and General to partner with the real Cuban companies to either keep the fakes or cheapen the real ones. It would be cool, however, to see the prices drop (if the taxes don't go up) on Dominicans, Nicaraguans, Hondurans, etc.

Altadis already owns half of Habanos S.A, so domestic H. Upmann, José Piedra, Montecristo, Quintero, and Romeo y Julietas might disappear to make room for the cuban ones. I have to wonder if maybe they might reblend the domestics using some cuban tobacco to stretch out the supply and the marketing appeal. If Habanos SA is clever, they might be able broker a deal to use their brand names in exchange for giving the domestic trademark holders access to Cuban tobacco. Not sure I'd count on anyone being clever though.:-k

I'm going with whatever happens it'll be heavily taxed and messed with and the consumer will get fucked.
