These cigars are a regular with my club but to me they have always been an average cigar with great flavor but less than consistent construction. Anywho..I smoked two last night at a wedding and I completely enjoyed the cigars. Tight construction and a perfect draw the ash kept in tact almost to the half way mark on the 1st robusto. Has anyone else noticed a change in borhani's staple cigar? This thing seems to be a better cigar these days?

Since getting serious about cigars, again, this has been one of my staples; although, I confess most of the Borhani's in my 'dor are Vinatge 1990 or 1993. I can't say enough good things about them! If they show up here on cigar.bid I'll probably pick up a box or two just to put in storage for a couple of years!! Great with some age.

This has been one of my top 5 cigars since I smoked the first maduro red label 3+ years ago. The 1989 and 1990 vintage were the best. I still have 2 boxes of the
1990 left. Up until a year ago, the blend or quality changed; for the worst. The construction has always been rough, and sometimes the draw tight. The ones I won here about 2 months ago are okay. but I think with a few months of aging these will be better.

I tried these about a year ago and was not impressed. I found them harsh and not that flavorful, but after reading your comments I'm going to give them another try.
