For all the people on the east coast. Could it get any hotter, dryer or more humid...holy crap! I couldn't even smoke a cigar last night on the deck. The humidity was so high it looked like fog! My friggin teeth were sweating!

I live on the gulf coast in South Texas. My sympathy for you is limited as you are describing the winters here. 😉

Bud, I hear ya. I'm in MA, and I was afraid to flick the ash on my Onyx Reserve on my "lawn" last nite- I thought it would cause a flash fire (lawn watering ban in my town). You know it's humid when there's dew on the house windows in the morning.

Left coast weather is just fine,thanx. Cool ocean breeze keeps the the temp to about mid 70's. X

110 with 20% humidity in Phoenix, AZ...water ban is forthcoming I'm sure of it...4th straight drought year as well and we are supposedly in our "monsoon" season.. Humi humming right along between 68-72 percent...

try 90/90 most of the summer ou there in North Carolina... to top it off we get 50 inches of rain each year.. something like 40" evaporates, 9" runs back to the rivers (cape fear or the neuse river basin everywhere around here) so about 1" goes back to the water supply.. My town has a 2 day hand watering only law in effect.. in Dallas last summer my dad said it went like 50 days w/ ni rain and no restrictions in the middle of summer... now THAT's a water supply..

Here on the gulf coast, it's mid to high 90s with 75-100% humidity. The sea breeze keeps it from being unbearable. Laredo, 150 miles to the west is often the hottest spot in the nation, with average temps well over 100 degreesF. Hotter than 9 kinds of Hell!

It's after 7:00 in Delaware, and the heat index is still 95. We're in a bad drought right now. All I could think about was my cigars sitting in the sun.

Damn!!! I feel for all of you... why here in Kansas it is only about 103 with 85% humidity and and nice easy 30-40 mph breeze (sometimes the wind actually blows hard... you know 50-65mph)... just try lighting up with one of those "wind proof" lighters let alone enjoying a nice peaceful evening on the deck. I don't believe they ever tested those things outside!!...LOL!!!!

It's hazy, hot and humid and hasn't rained since forever, but the water table is OK, and the nights get a nice breeze since no point on Cape Cod is further than 8 miles from the ocean. Can't complain.

People here in the Chicago area attempt to boast how humid it is here. HA!!!! Two weekends ago was the most humid it's been all year and I dug out my future patio area, 11X17. All the while, the neighbors staring out the window in amazement. They do that when I chase the coyotes down the street also. It's good to be a Texan!

Felt like home, Eh Mean? Upper 90's and 98% humidity. Nothing like Houston!

Clear sky, no wind and 46 degrees here in balmy ND. Went out to have a cigar, and I had to wear socks with my sandals.

Today in SF CA the high was 63 or so, had a torano sig this evening and it was in the low 50's windy and moist. I'm still not used to this weird weather!!
