I sent out a little sumpin today for this feller. It is always nice to hear if your smokes are received and appreciated but you never know. All I know is I kept it simple. DESPERADO don't be afraid as all anybody wants is a Thank You from you! Thank You goes a long way around here. Trust Me on that!

i took a drive up there and found out he's without power at the moment.

we here in southern indiana had some nasty weather last weekend, and he got a nasty bit of damage.
his garage is half crushed from this tree that was across it.
i stuck around a little bit but i've had so much O.T. at work .....i'm about all worn out! i still have to work tonight as well....it's because of the upcoming holiday's!
but desperado Jim....hasn't left us willingly!
if it weren't for the fact he uses wood to heat, he'd be in real trouble with the past few cold day's!

i have to get this last nascar thing done up real quick....then i'll catch up before hitting the sack!

ps....i've got a few to thank!! but i'm going to have to wait till tomorrow for that!

Thanx for the update Dup! I'm sorry to hear about Desperado. I remember seeing on the news about a bunch of twisters touching down in that area last week. I hope everything will be alright for you both & all the residents of the areas affected. Be well.....moonman!

mostly just storm "damage" everyone's ok here.....and when i went up to desperado's...he didn't say anyone he knew got hurt......but his garage is wasted!
i gave him my cell number so if he needed anymore help , that i'd be off and i'd be more than willing to help!
but me...myself ..where i am, we had some tree's fall ..."blown" over and limbs abound...but none too severe.
but up north a bit..where Jim lives ...they got his a bit harder!

Yeah...but it was a nice garage!!!
had a little apt room upstairs that he had just finished so he had a smoke room in the winter!!!

he said it'll be spring by the time insurance goes through and he get's it rebuilt the way it was!
i told him......i would smoke inside after spending all summer building it and just as cold comes on..something happens too it!
i'd be inside....ain't that just tough!
