There is a thread running on Hemmingways and their wrappers. Someone brought up the Sungrown Classic and I have never smoked or even seen one.

I am hoping there might be someone out there who would be willing to trade me one (or more?). I have super premium sticks to trade on my end - Opus, PAMs, Hemmi Maddies, DC Max, whatever.

Hemi maddies are quite common especially this time of the year.

I was lucky enough to get 2 Hemi SGs from a trade. I smoked one wasn't impressed so the other has been napping over a year.

I went to a store I have never been in and looked for some for you and you won't believe but they sold their last one last week.

my local says the same thing when I ask if they are getting and 8-5-8 SGs.

He's probably BS-ing you. Here's info:

"(7" x 48), these are Hemingway Classic cigars with a Sun Grown wrapper. They were released in early 2003, as a promotion for dealers who won the Fuente contest. 165 boxes (with 25 cigars per box) total were made available."

There were several stores in New Jersey that had these in. I took several roadtrips and was able to get approx 15-17 of these. I traded/gifted most of these away, but kept about 2 or 3 for myself.

Sorry, not looking to trade, just thought I'd share some info on these. They are very rare and hard to find.

I have a second confirmation that these are currently for sale at Casa Fuente in the Forum Shops, Ceasers Palace Las Vegas. They are selling for $500 a box or around $20 a stick.

Looks like they are making them in small quantities again. Woohoo!
