OK, maybe we weren't EXACTLY talking about surgery, but thinking about Keith and his dad having both come through and doing well, I realized there's another of our little group here that's in the hospital following surgery and thought some of the rest of you might like to join me in wishing him a full and speedy recovery as well ...

Miamibum went in for (unspecified) surgery last Wednesday and is now recovering from that ... I hope he approves of my suggesting that we all wish him well ...

Thanks to everyone for all the kind words. Rookie, you are correct, hospital food will hurry a recovery like nothing else. Glad to hear that you and your father are also doing well. My surgery also involved removing a kidney (actually about 70% of the left one). This is a kind and supportive group of folks on this board and I do appreciate the thoughts. Now let's all light up a top shelf and enjoy the sunset. LOL
