Does anyone know the different sizes Cojimar brand cigars come in? Also what other brands of sugar tipped cigars are there.

mix some cane not beet sugar 4 parts water to one part sugar. mix thoroughly. feed humming birds 90 % of the mixture in a feeder, and save 10%,

put the remainder in a small spray bottle and lightly spray each cigar and return them to your humidor.

the excess can be used during foreplay as an added inducement.

i promise you i am being serious and i look forward to never hearing about chocolate, bubble gum and/or sweet cigars again.

Since this forum is full of manly men, what is the best cigar for someone starting out. (sorry to offend all of the sweet flavor "cigar" bigots out there by my postings)

No one was (or is) offended by your posts, as to each their own.

But ... on the same token, if you are just starting out, you might as well start yourself off on the right track ... and smoke good cigars. Just start off with some 'light-bodied' or 'medium-bodied' premium cigars, and you can't go wrong ... and get the true flavor of a good cigar.

Have you tried Swisher Sweets? For a real cigar try a Onyx Reserve mini belicoso. The cigar is blended to be sweet. For a wide variety of flavored cigars get a pack of Savannah Slims from this site.

So tell me of a really good (don't kill me on price) cigar that I can enjoy.

Try bidding on a couple of 5-packs.

Great tasting mild cigars would be 5 Vegas, Leon Jimenes, Sinatra 'My Way', Pleiades, Maxim's de Paris (use to sell for $15 a stick), Romeo y Julieta, Astral, and even some of the Cupido line ... just for starters.

There are many more out there that I'm sure others have tried, that they will be glad to tell you about ...

i suggest bying 3 or 4 5 packs of cigars that are not expensive, something not exceeding $1.50 per cigar. remember shIpping for the first 5 is about $4. with an additional 50 cents per 5 pack. take weekly shipping spend the $30 or $35. and you should have enough to last a while.

A lot of flavored cigar lines use flavoring to cover up the crappy, very poor quality tobacco they use for their cigars, FYI

wbslngr: I'm an infrequent cigar smoker, so we're in the same boat. I don't think I'll EVER try a sweet, sugar tipped or flavored cigar. I just don't see the point. I want to taste the tobacco.



One of the last ones I tried (may not be the BEST in some others opinions) and absolutely loved was Sportsmen Reserve a compilation by Drew Estates and Perdomo. Very smooth and tastey IMO. You may want to ask [email protected] about them. He gave it to me.



Also, the C.A.O. cammeroon L'Anniversarie (sp?) was very nice. I'd give one of those puppies a go. Have fun and don't be shy! Big deal, you can ALWAYS buy another if you're not happy.

I'm not a fan of flavored cigars, but MrsS and my next door neighbors are ... in the process of a lot of trial and error, seeking to find a good flavored cigar, I found that the term "GOOD flavored cigar" is a bit of an oxymoron ... being a fairly good cook who isn't afraid to try to improve on a restaurant recipe I applied that sort of thinking to producing good flavored cigars ... I bought two flavoring jars and went to work with brandy, rum, cognac, etc. and found that the process results in a very subtle end product rather than an obtrusive one and that the quality of the cigar one starts with makes all the difference in the world ... I am able to infuse cigars with various flavors that my wife and the neighbors really like, but even those I prefer be smoked downwind from me ...

Try the Bacarrat. They use a sweet gum on the cap but the cigar is not flavored. They are inexpensive and mild. Petit Corona @ $35-$45 a box.

Yes, I am. Have always wanted to but never tried it. My wife and I went to Brown County for vacation and the have an big kids toy shop that has pipes and cigars and other items. I walked in and wanted to try it. We bought a pipe and the peaked my interest. I then started searching the net and kept talking about it and finally my wife said buy some already. I did and the rest is history. (although this is all within a 3 week period) I bought my first couple 3 weeks ago.

I am in Indianapolis. I was in a cigar store this weekend that had lockers in the walk in humidor with gold name plates. That looked really cool. Do some cigar stores have like a membership club or something?

Why buy a humidor when you can just use that one to hold your Swisher Sweets. Actually those lockers are for Baseball players to keep their steroids in. Don't tell anyone.

Well some day I hope to grow up and appreciate a real cigar like all of you keep telling me.
