... that Oliva has changed the bands on the later releases of the 'O'?



The original bands were red satin, with embroidered gold lettering ... and the box I just got has a 'fancier' band. Basically the same, but now, they are using a more 'glittery' band with a sparkling gold border and lettering on it, and a smaller 'O'.

Not sure which one I like better ... but the new ones seem to be a little more 'foo-foo' looking to me ... kind of like a theater or halloween costume kind of material.

I hadn't noticed 'til you mentioned it, but in looking in the humi, I see you're right .... oh, well, what the hell ... the band might be a little too froo-foo, but luckily, I don't smoke IT ... I take it off and just smoke the cigar ... so, as long as there's no froo-foo perfume or flavoring, I'll be OK

... I forgot to mention that the wrapper on the latest release is darker and more 'reddish' in color.

I guess I'm going to have to do a taste test on them, just to see. I still have a couple left of the old stock ... 😉
