I have been lurking around the cbid forums for a few years now. I have enjoyed reading the trade posts as a spectator but have never had the urge to engage in the fun. However, recently I saw a trade offer that really caught my attention (Partagas 150's) and responded immediately by firing off a package to Rick3985.

I broke at least a couple of "newbie trade rules" like "don't trade with someone that is not established", and "if a trade sounds to good to be true, it is too good to be true." I threw caution to the wind anyway and sent some of my best sticks out.

Well, today the mail man arrived at my door with a rule breaking package. Yes, some new guys are all they say they are and this deal was as true as he said it was!

Partagas 150 Ramon y Ramon times 2, Torano Trib '04, CAO Black, and a 5 Vegas 'A'!!

Well, I don't know if I will ever trade again. It seems that any other trade would fall short of this, my first ever.

Gotta keep the palate clean, go with Ice water. For the second one, drink a glass od edradour single malt. i have some more when you are ready. 6 padres, 6 Legados, 5 Familias, and one Nino.. Let me know....

i have been here longer than rick, but i consider him ESTABLISHED! and take it from me, you wanna get on his good side, send him CAO italias--he will better you anyway, at least you will make him HAPPY!

believe it or not, a small, local liquor store here carries it for fifty bucks a bottle. I bought a couple last time I was there, and think he may have some more. Would you like me to pick you up a bottle, if possible? We could work out a trade...... Let me know via e-mail....
