...for their knowledge and time.

Hey BOTL/SOTL, after lurking on the forum pages for about a month I thought it was time time to introduce myself. I live in the Houston, TX area and have been enjoying cigars and bidding for only about 6 months.

Initially I went crazy with the bidding and won too many auctions with no real direction. I am looking for a couple of FOGs that would be willing to be sounding boards for any questions I might have about the world of the leaf.

If a couple of reputable FOGs agree to assist me (really, only my wife thinks I am untrainable)I would insist on sending a small token of thanks in advance.

Thanks for your time,

Charles

post those questions...other newbies probably have the same questions...i read virtually everything on the cigar board. it is a good place.

and a word of advice, no matter HOW drunk you get, never (and i mean NEVER) pull andy's finger. many times more than just gas squirts out!

welcome to the madness!

So Andy you gamble and lose on occasion? No snailer here. Just fire away with those questions.

Castlewa - I appreciate the gesture, but I already packed you a box that is sitting in my humi. Just a small token, nothing elaborate.

Just think of it as a teaching exercise-you can advise me if I am properly packing the cigars for mailing. This way I won't embarrass myself when I do my first trade.
