WOW, has anybody ever tryed and OCASO vintage? WOW, what a great smoke i would compair it to a davidoff mel. blend, but that is just me and it only cost me 4.00 here in Texas. My gar guy told me that the company was some how a part of romeo&J but split on difs. the regular OCASOs are a little more fav. than the Romeo&J vintage, but only 3 something a stick!! Sorry i am just so excited that I may have found something this good!! If OCASO is old news nevermind, i am slow.

OCASO is OSACO spelled backwards. Osako is a large Japanese city (the feminine version is Osaka) where the Ocaso is made using Hokkaido cloud-grown wrappers and Okinawa binders. They don't use filler because no one can pronounce it.

i've got one in the humi but haven't tried it yet. might have to do that soon.

LLT, Do they seed the clouds with Cubans?

When I was younger they used to seed the clouds in San Angelo but it would rain and they would wash out before they could grow.

I am from Houston, but going to grad school at A&M here in collegestation the place i found the ocaso line was at jeffery stone lmt. in westlake square on westimer in houston. I am a love the Romeo and J vitage line but i truly think that the ocaso is a more full smoke and the cap constuction is a little better. Hell if you findem at the price i have give them a try.

I've had one from one of the downtown cigar vendors. Nice mellow mild cigar,burns well. If you like em mild, this is one to get.

had a figurado shaped one last night. pretty impressive. had a nice dark oily wrapper and decent burn. kinda reminded me of the el rico habano habano club--until i tried to stand. it didn't taste strong while i was smoking it but it had an after-kick. or maybe those long island iced teas might have added to the effect. anyway i recommend it highly--the cigar ...
