I've managed to collect about 1/2 a dozen over the years of various brands (Cohiba SigloIII, R&J Cedro, Punch Corona, San Cristobal, a Monte Tubo). The only one I've smoke is the San Cristobal, gifted to me by some really mean dude, and I truly enjoyed it.

Guv, you nailed my fave!!!! I don't think you can go wrong with that cigar. As far as ISOM's go. Hoyo and Bolivar are very,very close seconds. I'd really like to try a Trinidad to see what the buzz is about them. Cohiba is a cigar in my mind that has had it's better days behind it. With the Opus X and Padron 1926, I don't think I'd try another.

Mine so far is a Monte...as usual, don't know exactly which one, but a Monte for sure.

IMO, you can't go wrong with anything Partagas or RyJ...I've started to shift towards the smaller smokes as of late due to time constraints, and the Partagas Belvederes are excellent!

Had earlier this afternoon today a Hoyo De Monterrey Churchill that was good but surprisingly not great...Had an Opus X #4 (I just received a Perfektion #2 from Cliff today that made me crave one..LOL) that was unbelievably good this evening (Thanks BMW!!)...I think I'm gonna break out the Bolivar Belicoso Fino now with a glass of some good scotch (only ONE glass)

Life is great when your wife is 10,000 miles away (in Laos on business for another week..not THAT kind of business smarta$$es!) and you can then smoke in the residence!..LOL)

LA FLOR DE CANNO has to be the best out of the 3 dif. I have smoked the cohibias are way over rated and the R&Js are good too, but for 70.00 a box i cant beat the taste of these guys with a sick, mild with the cuban taste i am finding that i am working backward i use to like the full flav. maduros like par. blacklabel and ex. now i like the more light R&J vintage WHAT IS HAPPENING TO ME IT SHOULD GO THE OTHER WAY!!!!

My Habano experience is limited, but I find it hard to believe there's much that can beat a Sancho Panza belicoso - probably the best single cigar experience I've ever had.

I hate to do this, but could someone please tell me what ISOM stands for. I could not find it anywhere.

Generally it is the last one I smoked - LOL. Besides the HDM mentioned above, I am partial to the Montes - especially the #2 and the Especial #1. Barry

Is it a synonym for a Cuban made cigar?

I am looking in a recent cataloge and Perdomo has an ISOM line. Is this just like a non-cuban using Habano?

I have never had an ISOM. Now, if anyone would care to send some samples so I could form an opinion, I would be forever greatful!
