Hey listen.........no need to explain your comment (which was very funny).

I DID post this in jest...........since by most standards this is a very poor ashtray, and the intent was to contrast the pictures of the really NICE ashtrays.

However.............I did make this ashtray. I found a piece of oak trim and carved a bowl and a little channel with a chisel. It is not at all pretty; but it is perfect for when I need a place to put my cigar while showering/shaving, etc. It is my "bathroom ashtray"...........and my bathroom is equally shoddy; carved out of a corner of my basement with bare walls and a prison grade shower. But it's MINE........and I take great enjoyment in the protracted use of my bathroom while smoking a cigar. The wife and kids use the nice bathroom upstairs.

Andy, All kidding aside, your ashtray does EVERYTHING any of the ones I've made does, and the beauty is if it gets beat up..............NO WORRIES!!!
