Introducing, the Espresso from El Mejor, a coal-black, box-pressed beauty that’s coated with a luxurious Mexican maduro wrapper leaf. Oily, shiny, thick and juicy, this gorgeous leaf has it all, and offers a wonderfully rich, creamy flavor and slow-burn. The robust blend of Honduran long-leaf tobaccos complement this dark wrapper nicely, promoting subtle hints of cocoa and an undeniable, toasty hint of coffee. Deliciously complex, medium-bodied and smooth to the nub, El Mejor (“The Great One”) Espresso is a winner from A to B.

Lemme tell ya shumthin'. Now this is my opinion only, bought them because they were dirty cheap...............................................................................well there is a reason why thier dirt cheap. Worst dog rocket ive ever had & when i first started smoking 'gars i had a box of devil's weed church's and thought those stunk up the humidor. The El Mejor tops them sorta speak. i think i have 2-3 left too 🤦

Right there with ya kombat. I tried one and made it about 1/2 way before I tossed it. The taste is what I would imagine ass tastes like, yes an espresso, chocolaty, kind of butt taste with an even nastier aftertaste. It does look good though.

Wow tough group.....I am going to get slammed here but here goes. I have smoked all of the Espresso's and find them to be a very enjoyable medium smoke. Both the Torpedo and Toro offer a lot of what they advertise. The Churchill is a poor choice due to they will not burn evenly. If I only smoked 5 or 6 cigars a week then I would not likely chose to smoke them or for sure recommend them...but I generally smoke 20 or so cigars a week and I had to find a decent cheap cigar to smoke part of the time. I can usually pick up a 5 pack for $5 or bundle of 20 for less than $25 at auction. Let the slamming begin

Keep up the good work. Love your direct and honest to the bone reviews. In this case though, it will help more E.M.E.'S fall into my lap for PEANUTS!!! 🖐

Well Tommy, glad you enjoy them. That said you will be glad to know I'll not be raising the bids on this one. I have given this cigar 3 tries, and YUK! Definitely not for me. It's nice to find a good value gem for everyday enjoyment, yard work, fishin' etc. I'll not be revealing the value smokes I enjoy, ever, at least not in this open forum. Too many Douchenozzles will drive up the bids.

I'm with you on this one, David. So, did you end up with black lips and fingers? There's a reason why they are "coal black". A funny little substance known as dye. I wonder if they use real coal, lol.

I used to like them and they were cheap when I first started w/ cigars. But after trying so many different cigars on this site my taste profiles changed. 🤔 I still think I'd rather smoke EME toro than a MOW Virtue or a Padilla Obsidian.

I got a bundle of these shortly after the emeralds came out. Robusto. Might have a couple rolling around the bottom shelf. Got them for when time was short (posted a picture of one at the river on my lunch break years back). Thought they were decent and had no problem smoking them.
