I'm about 1/2 way through (tivo'd it). Interesting documentary on physician assisted suicide.

What say the Cbid outrage crew?

I'll pass, thank you...on ALL of it.

Doctors don't need to be part of this equation.

Kinda goes against that whole Hippocratic Oath, but then again so does abortion.

Yeah, death panels has a nice ring to it doncha think?

I see it more like a personal thing, no government involvement at all. You, as a person, have control over your own life and how you choose to end it should the situation warrant with professional assistance. The physician wouldn't be physically administering the dosage, only advising as to what would be best to achieve the desired result. You, as the individual would be making the ultimate decision.

Once again, why involve someone that's sworn an oath to UPHOLD and PRESERVE life in manners of checking out?

Read up on the Hemlock Society if you want to go.

No need to waste a doctor's time talking about dying. They have feet to remove off of people and tonsils to rip out.

Our doctors already kill lotsa people here in Oregon.

I voted for it. Though I was much younger and I think that's the same election I voted for Clinton! My young reasoning was if we have the right to life then an individual should have the choice for death. And less long term health costs....

Now? Dunno. Although not alot of people are doing it and hospice care is pretty much the same thing except its a hippie nurse who doesn't work well with others in the hospital so they drive their lesbaru around and dose the patients up with synthetic morpine.

Beg to differ.....if a patient is close they will dose em.

You may have family experience once or twice, I have 14 years. Yes this is more immediate but not many doctors are doing this either.
