Thanks a lot. I didn't bring extra shorts with me. BTW, third from left looks like a little crack in the foot. Can't be sure though without a visual inspection.{:-)

holy #$#$ bat man, nice stash. I haven't had the 4 yet. The three was just OK IMO, but heard good things about the 4. I wonder if you smoke the 4 and 3 at the same time whether you'll get a preview of the small batch 7?

Just OK? The 3 is what made me get the 4s but then Ive never had a 1 or 2 so cant compare. From the reviews Ive read the 2 sounds like the best of 1-3.

In case yall didnt know. Heres some info on the pelo de oro leaf.

Pelo de Oro
While this is a Spanish term meaning "golden hair" it is usually a reference to a potent Cuban cigar varietal which was popular in the early and middle 20th Century. This tobacco could be used for wrapper and filler as well, but is disease prone and can infest entire crops and regions so it is rarely grown today. Pelo de Oro can be considered a 'campesino' or 'guajiro' tobacco since many agricultural workers grow and smoke it to this day - especially in the central part of Cuba. It is known for being quite strong and flavorful as well as sweet. Also, see Capadura.

Love the MF LB, thank you Jazz. Havent really searched but to my knowledge that is the only other cigar that uses pelo de oro but the small batch 4 is the only cigar that uses it as the wrapper.

Well with a quick search I fund that the tatuaje verite has pelo de oro and so does the nestor miranda art deco.

I have one sitting in the humi. but I don't want to smoke it. That is two months worth of my cigar budget right there!

Haven't had the 1 or 2..yet, the 3 are just now reaching the sweet spot, the 4 I've smoked was not as full bodied as a "fresh" 3, but seems to be more complex and had a sweet aftertaste most of the way thru! Me likes 'em, after all its a LG stick!
