I know we have a few firemen here so I thought I'd give it a try. I'm looking for 4-6" hose in any length to use to make chew toys for Simon. Weird ass dog won't chew on regular chew toys but loves fabric. I picked up one fire hose type chew toy for him from the pet store and he loves it. They're easy enough to make but I don't have a source for used fire hose here.

Let me check and see what we have here in the 'ville. Pretty sure we have some laying around.

i wear leather work gloves inside welding gloves. works pretty good but buddy knows he can still cause me pain and has taken to just working on getting the cuffs or tips. still can get pretty rough with him and vice versa

This guy has a big enough mouth to fit my lower leg in his mouth (I found out the hard way separating him from a GSD/rott mix). I don't need my whole hand in his mouth chewing and I'm pretty sure he would attempt to eat a leather glove.

and since you are a sailor, 2" cotton howser works good too. buddy will hold it and roll over on his back and let me drag him around the house and yard. has to be cotton or too tough too bite and hurts their teeth
