They shut it down! Kaput.

BUT I bought a case on ebay and paid through the nose for it.

SO, now I am ISO the new replacement made with Imperial Cane sugar so I can compare the two.

Seems like it might be a Texas only kinda thing??

Can a Texas bro take a peek and let me know if it exists yet.

I'm not looking for the 125th Anniv. stuff. I had that. It was NOT as good as Dublin.

I had a thought...

I found some DDP somewhere. I'd rather 'trade' for it...so, if someone buys it and has it shipped to me, I'l hook ya up with some smokes! We'll figure out details via PM.

I'm gonna have to break down and buy one of those last few cases from online as well. hey will be good for 8-12 months only. M, when I traveled regularly to that area, I would bring them back in my suitcase and send them in a ups box as well, had both, as well as some DR P. made in Mexico plant, Nothing compares to the Dublin, I grew up in an area where a family owned Coke bottler (actually worked for them about 5 years) had the rights and wasn't stingy on flavor, it tasted exactly like the Dublin, so it was always like a trip to my childhood when I got the Dublin. When I was in the Dallas area I would get the Temple bottled cane sugared and it was close, but not quite the same, just lacked a little of that zing(being cheap on the recipe).. I have a very sensitive olfactory, one of my jobs was as a flavoring tech for QC, was given kudos/certificates for having a very discerning palette. Maybe now they have the total rights they will try to use the original recipe, we can only hope.
