If you buy during resetting (if you even can), do you get the last price you saw?

I've never been able to make a successful purchase when the screen shows "resetting" as I click on the "confirm" button. It sometimes seems that if I try to buy at the lowest price I've seen after watching for awhile, it resets automatically, thwarting the purchase at that price. Artificial intelligence at work here, keeping you glued to this site and away from other auction sites.

If you click “buy” during a reset, a couple things could happen. If it is truly resetting, you'll get an error message stating such. If there is any kind of delay on your end, or you're slow on the finger, you may think you are clicking during reset, but the system may actually be receiving your bid a nano-second after the high reset price takes effect, and you would have bought them at that price. Best not to click anything during reset.

Delta,

Once it's counting down during the cyle that will end up at the price I've determined to be the lowest, I'll check the "Verify" box, and then keep my blasted mouse pointer away from the "buy now" box, until it's only a drop or two away from my price. I'll then place the mouse pointer on the "buy now" box, and click it the very second it shows my price. Never had a problem with resets this way.

using my laptop....I click verify and place the hand (mouse) over the buy now button and as Duwan stated after realizing the lowest price....click and click fast cuz it resets fast!! At the time of resetting it actually moves your hand (mouse) out of the way until it resets, there have been times where I know I clicked it fast enough...but no dice. And I also know that I didn't miss out because some one else clicked as no new name was added....](*,)

My issue is it becomes a game to me to get it as low as possible. At time I am waiting to save .20. Stupid!
