Does anyone have any Humidors or Hydrometers, ashtrays, just laying around they'd like to sell or trade for? If so PM me please. Maybe we can work out a trade or something and I'd pay for shipping. Thanks. Hope a post like this isn't a no no. Sorry if it is and just ignore.

Your best bet is a cheap ice chest from Wally world. Get one twice as big as you think you will need. If you spend any amount of time around here you will outgrow most desktop humidors in about 2.3 days.

I know this site loves some coolers, but I like a traditional humis, especially furniture humis. If I get too full, I just bomb everyone.

I don't think I have any extras still though. I'm sure some people around here do!

Yeah I'm setting up a cooler but there is just something about a real pretty Humidor that speaks to me. Like... cooler gets the okay stuff Humidor gets the GREAT stuff. I'm on a tight budget though with kids tuition plus summer camp etc just looking to see if I can get a decent used Humi at a reasonable price. Maybe someone has one sitting in the garage or doesn't use it anymore etc because it has a ding or scratch whatever. Had to ask. who know I might have gotten lucky.

If you insist on having a furniture style humidor(which I completely understand), my recommendation would be to find a cabinet used that you could refinish, and line with some Spanish Cedar, add some beads and you're set If you do a search through some old threads you can find some neat ideas. I had a display case endtable that I converted for example.

I keep a 500 cigar humidor at the office and a 300 stick humidor at home. I have a nice 100 cigar humidor that I don't need anymore. (just got the 500)

I would be willing to trade it for something. It's about a year old and still looks brand new.
