I bought a couple of AB tabletop lighters on an auction from CBID three full weeks ago. I was on daily ship then.

They were supposedly shipped seperately from my cigars that week. It has been 16 days now and I still haven't received my shipment. The tracking link shows shipped on 5/29 and expected delivery by 6/4.

I only live about 200 miles from CBID. They could have strapped them to the back of a turtle and they would have been here by now.

I've contacted CBID several times now for a replacement or a credit and their response has been to wait that sometimes they take 3 weeks. Give me a break. It's only 200 miles away!

They haven't responded to my reply about it from two days ago and I just sent them another to say I either get a credit or replacement tomorrow or I'm done with them.

I'm not doing this to badmouth them or to be an ass, I just want to know if any of you have had similar problems.

BTW I have spent over $3,000 with them in the past 6 weeks and everything else has arrived promptly, packaged well, and in great shape.

I wouldn't worry yourself too much, while I understand your impatience and agree they should have arrived by now I'm certain they'll get ya squared away.

I had a similar experience with another company USPS gives it to fed x they ran it across the state of Ohio for 14 days to deliver it back to USPS in Charleston WV to be trucked to Parkersburg then on for 3 miles to Vienna took a total of 3 freaking weeks LOL

Had to correct that 4 day chit it was 14 LOL

I understand your frustration, but CS is probably right... Everything like lighters and butane has to go through a special screening process from what I understand...

I had cigars shipped monday, and they showed up here in California today... I had butane shipped last friday, and it just showed up in New Jersey yesterday (wrong direction entirely)...

waiting for shipments of lighters and fuel can be so frustrating I've learned to forget about them until they show up... they will likely show up though...

Be patient and let cigar bid do their thing in their own time... I know it can be frustrating, but if the package never shows up, cigarbid will make it right, no doubt about that...

IIR, each PO that a letter/package processes through, can hold the item for up to 10 days... It is rare but, it does happen...

I hate to threadjack (No I don't) but...

Seeing as you live like 50 feet away from me you think there is a chance we could get together for a golf lesson some time? I got invited to play with some big dogs at Bethesda Country Club tomorrow and I had to turn it down because I've only played once and am TERRIBLE. Cash money or trade, I can work something out.

Based on my current career arc, it's looking like being a passable golf player is becoming a must.

I don't think I overbid on anything. Keep in mind there were a lot of premiums in there. There's a ton of Lost City, Padrons, etc in those orders and it was over 500 cigars. I probably gifted out 200 or so out of what I ordered and split several boxes with some members.

Yeah I would be happy to work with you. I give 15-20 lessons per week. I will be gone to New Orleans Tuesday-Sunday next week and I have tournaments every day until then, but we can get together when I get back and we'll smoke a good cigar afterwards on the back porch.

Shoot me a pm or call me at the club and we'll set something up.

I'll even let you "peek" into my office humis!

Yeah it just seems weird to take this long though. I send and receive over 2500 ground packages a year and most are to and from the west coast to VA and I haven't had a package take more than 6 days going either way in the last 10 years.

Bro,,

They sell VERY few Super Premiums here,,

and they rely on the rookies to overpay for them,,

I'm not judging,,,

Cbid thirves on stuff like this....

AND QUIT pissing away so much $$ GIFTING STUFF..

There are some here that take advantage of the noob thing...

just my opinion..

I know it's frustrating to be waiting for your package but in my experience, and I've bought quite a bit here, Cbid is rock solid in making sure that you get what you ordered. Going on three weeks? That's not unsual when the USPS gets involved.

ok,,

my point being..

The deals here suck now, In the last year or so they've yanked most of the nice stuff and what good stuff is left is overpriced.

But, I'm a salesman and the only way to determine what something is worth is what someone will pay for it..

so,,

bid on,,,
