I just smoked my first La Flor Dominicana - Air Bender and I really enjoyed it but found it to be a little too mild for my tastes can anyone recommend an LFD that has a more medium to full bodied taste? I loved the Air Benders flavors I just wanted more of it. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks added that to my little notepad. Heh I wonder what the other guys at the B&M's are thinking when they see me walking around with a little notebook as I check out different cigars;-)

All LFD's and LG's weak little pissy blends that don't warrant your interest. Now move along. Nothing to see here.

Pay attention here.....I am the Official LFD Ho in these parts.

I highly recommend the following

In the Airbender line the lancero(Villano) and the corona(Poderosa)are the true flavor bombs.Nice med-full body with ample complexity to keep your interest.

The Ligero line nothing beats the L-300 in flavor/strength.

The Ligero Cabinet Oscuro is good across the board with my faves being the L-200,250 and 300.Very unique chocolate, caramel, expresso mix.

The double ligero is the powerhouse in the LFD line.My favorite is the 452.....it just provides the most balance in strength to flavor.I also keep on hand the DL 600 and the Chisel Gorda........both great sticks but a little less balanced. These are for after a huge evening meal and you want to kick your own azz.

The Double Ligero Maddies just aren't for me.Nothing wrong with them but I get so much more out of the Ligero Cabinet Oscuro's.

The Cameroon Cabinet selection is one of the most unique cigars you may ever experience. It isn't your typical medium in body sweet treat. This line is wrapped in cameroon LIGERO leaf. You still get some of that sweetness but it isn't tame....Kind of like a sweet HOT BBQ sauce......and yes the cameroon cabinet line will leave your lips tingling and begging for more. The #1 is my favorite stick.

The Colorado Oscuro IMHO is some of Litto's finest work to date.If you like the Havana Bolivar line I think you will like these.I'm in no way saying they're the same.....but the common thread they do share is that deep dark earthiness found in so few cigars.I know it's not for everyone.......but if you dig it these are spectacular. My faves are the #2 and the #3.

The Reserva Especial line is more of a medium bodied treat.I like the El Jocko natural(I've not tried the Maduro but it is on my To TRY LIST) and the robusto.IMO these are more of a niche line.......If you're smoking DL's everyday these probably aren't for you.

The Coronado line is a sweet sungrown that will also leave your lips smackin.Which reminds me I need another box of the Corona Especial's......my fave in the line.

The Double Claro(candela) of which I have tried 1(Thanks ZRX)and have 1 buried(Thanks NICAR)was OK for me.....which is saying alot. The only other candela I've been able to finish was the AF 858.IMO not an everyday stick but an occasional change-up.

Now to the Star of this show.......The Litto Gomez Diez line. These are quite strong yet as complex as any cigar currently on the market. My go to's are the Oriental, the Americano and the Cubano in that order.

There are a few other sticks that are not necessarily regular production.I've NEVER had a bad stick made under the direction of Litto.....so don't hesitate to try anything with his mark on it.

Hope this helps.....Now we'll work on getting your LGD badge.

Most/many of the LFD's are pretty strong. They will probably kick your butt. The airbender would probably be a good place to start.
