When you guy refer to PAM's is there a specific Padron anniversary maduro you are referring too? I've notice there are a few different dates on these like 1964, 80th anniversary's, 1926 40th anniversary's.... or are these all "PAM"'s that everyone seems to love?

I'm in the minority preferring the 26 over the 64. But, the 26 is what got me back into smoking 4-5 years ago, so maybe that is it.

Regardless, Padron doesn't make a bad stick. Even the X000 series are great smokes, extremely consistent, and typically priced very well.

+1. I enjoy the 64s...but the 26 is where it's at for me. I had a 26 #9 herfing w/ dstieger that had about 6 years on it. Absolutely blew me away, as always.

The 1964 PAM is amazing and beyond consistently good.

When I say PAM...It means a '64 Padron Anniversario Maduro. A PAN is the same except N=Natural.

Any other reference I'd mention the year.

'26 or '40.

If you want a really good suggestion...buy a couple boxes of Padron 5000's and put them in the bottom of your humidor for a couple of years and get back to me.

In the PAM 64 line you can't go wrong.......However my faves are the Monarca and the Piramide(this stick can be hard to find so if you come across one snatch it up).IMHO the Piramide is the most flavorful and complex of this line.

In the 26 line I absolutely love the #6 and the #2.I've got nothing much to complain about in the #35...........except it just leaves unsatisfied and wanting more.

Now if you're on a budget grab you dome La Aroma de Cuba Mi Amor Robusto's...........Very similar wrapper(Mexican San Andres)and IMHO as good as anything in the 64 line except the Piramide and so close to the 26's I'd call them kissing cousins.

For quality and consistency throughout their lines, they will always have a place in my humis along with AF's.

Good cigar, I especially like the 64. Just picked up 4 5er's for 34.00 each.
