So, it's no secret I like a few different Gurkha's... It's also no secret that Knokmdwn is an insanely generous brother with more cigars than many of us will ever even dream of owning...

I was interested in a box of 5 year old Gurkha Regents Ray had and we were able to work out a deal... Totally unexpected were the incredibly generous tag-alongs that accompanied the box...

Just awesome Ray... above and beyond... I really appreciate it a great deal...

Are the Regents the double perfecto ? If that's the case I have 2 of them that have been in my humi for a loooong time, any good ?

These are torpedo's, not the double perfecto's.... I was not aware they ever made the Regents in a double perfecto... but then again, I'm not aware of a lot of things....

they still make the Class Regent Torpedo's (and possibly robustos) and sell them here, but the Class Regent of today and the Class Regent of old are not the same blend...

...and I personally think the old Regents are pretty tasty... not the best Gurkha out there, but these that I received from Ray were especially good... his humidor has that effect on pretty much all cigars...

Not quite Heaven, but pretty close for an earthly model...

Never had any of these original blends, and probably won't smoke these until a special occasion far off in the future...
