Do certain brands have thicker wrapper leafs than others?

Since I'm heavy head chewer I've found Padron hold up considerably better than some of the nica/cuba libres, Patels.

Favorite is Padron.

Does maduro or natural play in to thickness?

Thanks.

Yeah.

Maduro is thicker.

Apparently you went black and won't go back.

Pennsylvania Broad leaf is like an old catchers mitt. Plus it smells like an old fashioned tobacconist's shop. Love it.

I would bet you are not popular at the rugby matches being a "Heavy Head Chewer".

Liga Privada in particular have very thick wrappers, all varieties. And Broadleaf wrappers in general tend to be pretty thick.

Thicker wrappers are tougher to get burning. For this reason I find that a double-puff usually provides more flavor for these thicker wrappers.

Don't know anything about rugby other than it's a sport.

But yes, it's a habit I've had for 30 plus years chewing on the head, whacking, going at it again! Noticed some wrappers look thinner than a sheet of paper is reason I'm asking.

May have to try other brands.[ram27bat]

Thanks for all responses.🇨🇮
