Well I have a humidor on the way but I wanted to get started on a coolidor also. I looked through most of the threads on here about coolidors but couldn't find my answer. Most post say to stick your coolidor in a basement or cool area of the house. My house is rather small and i dont' have a basement. I do have central air but during the day keep house running around 80 but from 4pm to say 9am it is at 74. Would a coolidor still work ok in those temps or is a winedor a better idea?

you should be fine, but will want to keep the Rh closer 60% to balance the higher temps.

higher temps 70% Rh = mold

Bottom of the pantry.

Crawl space under the stairs

Basically find a place that is cool and out of the sun so it doesn't heat up. Keep your AC on at a reasonable temperature. You will do just fine.
