hygro analog or digital?

If analog, toss it. If digital, when was it calibrated and how?

I wouldn't be too concerned with the numbers; how do the cigars taste and smoke?

http://www.cigarsinternational.com/prodDisp.asp?item=M-HYG12&cat=10 ).

I’ve only used the Boveda Calibration Kits to try and set the correct humidity. I just don’t “trust” the salt test. I also suggest that you start using heartfelt beads instead of what you are currently using.

The bottom line is how the cigars taste and smoke. I always try to keep ~60% RH and 60 F temp. YMMV

Get rid of the crystal clear. just use plain old distilled water. still works the best

Thanks dstieger! Didn't mean to be so lazy, just didn't remember seeing 60% beads last time I looked at their site. Thank also DCLover for the affirmative.

How to fix an analog hygrometer.

1. place hygrometer on flat surface.

2. pickup hammer.

3. strike hygrometer with hammer.

4. open nearest window.

5. throw hygrometer out window.

6. close window.

Just being yourself and your cigars to Albuquerque, where the humidity hovers around 10%. I'll help you smoke them up before they get too dry. [sarcasm]
