There is a large cigar vendor in Philadelphia who is a major competitor of CBid and CI.
This cigar vendor and Ashton Distributors are, in essence, the same company. The cigar vendor is the retail arm of the company and Ashton Distributors is the wholesale arm.
So, by selling any Cigars owned by Ashton Distributors, CBid and CI are supporting their competition.
Now, I find it kinda funny that no one can say the name of this cigar vendor on this site, but we can buy thousands and thousands of their cigars here.
Wrong.
It's a retailer in Philly, not NC.

Doesn't general own cbid? Hate to only be able to buy general brands here.

get used to it
That Philly retailer sells General cigars, whom the Sweds own along with Cbid and CI. The Sweds sell Ashton product, and the Ashton owned stores sell Swed product. So what's the big deal?
Duwan,

General and CI are both owned by Scandinavian Tobacco. Been this way for a few years now. As you can see, that's not all we sell!
