Hey everyone...first time posting.

I bought a Hydra LG a few months ago in anticipation of winning one of the Verona Humidors. Finally won the Verona about three weeks ago and tried to set it up last weekend and the Hydra LG doesn't work...any one have any experience with these? I'm trying to trouble shoot it, but get no power...

I'd welcome any assistance.

smart move, I only use my oasis when it is really dry in the winter, then only in the coolidor, the beads and a shot glass of dist H2O in the humidor if necessary.

If you have any of those type of humidifiers, the foam cartridge should be thrown away and replaced at least every year.

Cut the cartridge open and replace the foam with SAP (Super Absorbent Polymer) gel, as it's mold resistant. SAP gel is the stuff in the humi-care jars. There are a few places online where you can order the dehydrated powdered gel.

not anymore, gave it away.

as for troubleshooting it. ive heard some ppl having issues with the power supply maybe i got a bad one. try and return it.

and the beads are very good idea, but uve sunk the money into the LG system i say stay with that. my opinion, which around here nobody likes me so go figure LOL

try the power supply first, then go to a return policy.

I had the small one in my cooler. I found it hard to calibrate to my hygrometer and stopped using it. It also doesn't get rid of excess humidity.

I have 2 LGs, and an SM... Thank you Kombat for one of them!!!

To the OP, I have a power supply if you want to try it... You can have it...

Make sure the ribbon is first of all plugged into the proper spot, and make sure it is not in upside down. The contacts are only on one side of the ribbon.
