I stalk cut (hanging in da house, hehe) a couple of the Burley plants and left the one in the foreground to flower for seed.

Also hopefully a few of those larger leaves that are left will be worthy of shipping to Lou for some more practice on some ash trays (sorry Lou, It was gonna get out) I am sure once I post a pic of mine, once received, you may be in trouble.

Sorry NIck I won't have enough to ferment, so there won't be any real rolling material, but thanks for all the tips, brother.(There a little brown-nosing fer TW and Wheelie)

nah, they wouldn't even touch these big buggers, tomato hornworms, cabbage loopers, etc. you don't understand, that was with Bt spray, until the last few weeks, then I gave up, even when I sprayed right after the rain, the little buggers were so voracious, it would still have damage, until they ate enough to turn them to liquid. Now that is satisfying to see!

there was so little rain for so long, that when it did , there has been a crazy gigantic hatch of worms all at once, just before fall, if you stand still during the middle of the day in the grass, you can hear them moving and eating, there are that many.

My 21 yr old dinna believe me, so today he walked out there with me and saw it, we counted about 20 per sq ft. in one stretch of bermuda.

First pic without Sugar roaming around in the background. I like seeing Sugar out there with you. That way you can say you weren't talking to yourself, half naked in a Tobacco plot, "scaring" the deer away;-)

some of 'em were tomato/tobacco hornworms, I dinna let 'em get that big, but some were cutworms and flea beetles, Bt worked pretty good, I just dinna bother to spray after the last rains and the worms hatched out in a frenzy!

Mostly cutworms and some other moth larvae

Hornworms are vicious where I live, I have to hand pick and use Bt regularly or they will decimate my tomatoes, peppers or tobacco, if they can't find these, they will hit "poke sallet", and other weeds, even grass, when they eat jalapeno peppers solely, they get a real dark green, that was wild looking

I thought it was grasshoppers eating mine and I killed a bunch of them... didn't see this guy until it was too late... he blended in real good... 🤦

yep, and it only takes a few days for the suckers to get that large, you can track 'em by their poop, hehe, just like any other critter, put them ndn skills on 'em, brother.

I been fighting and hating on them big suckers since I was a kid, trying to make money from a pea patch and helping my parents with a big garden, and my Grandparents at their places.

yep, those grasshoppers were most likely looking fer a place to lay eggs/mate,or hook up, hehe. They needed to go as well.

Have you tried to sprout any of those seeds yet, run a test by soaking paper towel and putting a few on there to see if they will sprout
