female, crippled back leg, they usually don't get very large here, until they mix with dogs, especially shepherd mixes, then they get pretty big, she was prolly 20#, maybe a little more.

The smaller ones that are crippled are the most likely to kill small house pets as they get desperate

Coyote's used to stand at the end of my driveway and howl at the house.... (prolly looking for CROS)... I got a Great Pyrenees.... no more coyotes.... 😟

Just watched a PBS special on the Coywolf ( a mix of wolf and coyote ) and they are apparently a hybrid that will be tough to eradicate as they do well in urban as well as suburban situations.
