There is a Brick House event tomorrow at my B & M. I've seen mixed reviews here, but have never tried them first hand. The deals sound pretty good, any recommendations? Stay away?

If Gurkhas are bottom shelf, brickhouse is on the floor under the bottom shelf.

I've had draw problems with the couple I've smoked... I hate fighting with a seegar.
Haha. I just had a Brickhouse and did a search to see if they were just rebanded Gurkhas. The thing exploded like most Gurkhas and had the same flavor profile as most other way too big Gurkhas. Glad to see I'm not the only one that thinks they aren't good.
comparing them to Gurkas is not sensible.

Neither is telling someone that they can't compare something to something else based on their personal observations. Yet here we are.
first one with 2 months on it....good for 3 inches, then meh....
the other 4 all had 6 to 12 months on them......decent, solid cigar.......
problem imho is price point............MANY other sticks I'd buy before getting more of those (which I haven't)
Not everything is a Tatuaje Mummy.........
I like that these are among the small selection available at military exchanges. Used to be limited pretty much to Cuesta Rey, Unica and Quorum or some such. I rarely buy cigars on post, but when in a pinch, Brickhouse at about four bucks and change is very 'decent'.
Brickhouse are decent sticks IMO, that aren't the best cigar in the world but they make solid smokes...
