Yeah only started 19 at the QB position, and the knock on him was that he was Raw, and wouldn't be ready to play for a couple years... guess he sure proved them wrong...

That is what they were all saying but if you watched him play in college you could see he was gonna be good at the next level. I don't think he will be any where close to a marino status but he will be decent.

On a side note I cannot stand mel kiper jr i think he is the worse draft guy out there. he comes off as combine stats are everything and has such a big ego. personally i think he is almost always dead wrong and has no clue what he is talking about. I don't know how he got that job but i know there has to be tons of guys out there that do way better evaluations.

That's what they say about a lot of prospects and it hardly ever pans out. Ryan Leaf, Heath Shular and so on.

They do say that about a lot of QBs coming out but most aren't barely learning to play the QB position this kid played WR his whole life and barely starting playing QB on an untalented Texas A&M football team and after only 19 games very few people thought he was gonna be something special (Shaun and I being two of them) most people thought he couldn't adapt to the pro level and had flop written all over him ( mel kiper) a lot of people thought he didn't have enough games under his belt to know how good he was gonna be, So my point is this kid is already calling audibles at the line he's already reading Blitz packages, he's already doing things that even Peyton manning couldn't even think of doing his rookie year, the things he's doing Luck was suppose to be able to do (which he hasn't been able to do) he stands in the pocket with pose and never gets rattled if you watch him playthe last 4 weeks you can just tell he's cut from the mold of special QBs, now don't get me wrong I'm not saying hes a definite HOFer or anything but over all after studying ever rookie this year, he's the over all most complete QB sure Luck has the tools, and sure RG3 has the legs, but from a knowledge of the game stand point and with the least amount of talent at WR then either of the other two QBs to work with, it's just amazing to me that he's only played the position two years or so of his life and he's already that good imagine him after a couple of years the sky's the limit for this kid...

Honorable mention Russle Seahawks!! Lol... But again has trouble changing plays at the line yesterdays game a perfect example...
