do you find yourself adding distilled water or other humidity fluid to your humidors? My hygrometer stands pretty still at around 65%-68% but the sponges are dry. I do have beads in there but do I bother with the sponges if the reading is ok?

If it ain't broke don't fix it. If you add the sponges into your humidity equation it will probably go up. I'd say they are not sponge worthy but I'm noobish and could be wrong.

Have beads? Chit can the sponges. Salt test your hygrometer.

Get rid of the sponges and worry about the beads. Get at least 50% more beads than the equation.

How Much Heartfelt Beads do I need?

CALCULATE THE VOLUME OF YOUR HUMIDOR

Enter length, height and width in the form below and press the "CALCULATE" button.

If you enter the measurements in inches the answer will be in cubic inches.

If you enter your measurements in centimeters the answer will be in cubic centimeters.

Enter the Length, Height and Width then press calculate

LENGTH(L)

HEIGHT(H)

WIDTH(W)

VOLUME

IMPORTANT: When determining how many ounces to buy always round up.

Example: If your humidor calculates to 620 cubic inches buy 2 ounces not 1 ounce.

If you Measured in Inches

540 cu inches = 1 ounce

1080 cu inches = 2 ounces

1620 cu inches =3 ounces

2160 cu inches = 4 ounces

2700 cu inches = 5 ounces

3240 cu inches = 6 ounces

3780 cu inches = 7 ounces

4320 cu inches = 8 ounces

4860 cu inches = 9 ounces

7020 cu inches = 13 ounces

7560 cu inches = 14 ounces

8100 cu inches = 15 ounces

8640 cu inches = 16 ounces

If you Measured in Centimeters

8850 cubic cm = 1 ounce

17700 cubic cm = 2 ounces

26550 cubic cm =3 ounces

35400 cubic cm = 4 ounces

44250 cubic cm = 5 ounces

53100 cubic cm = 6 ounces

61950 cubic cm = 7 ounces

70800 cubic cm = 8 ounces

79650 cubic cm = 9 ounces

88500 cubic cm = 10 ounces

97350 cubic cm = 11 ounces

106200 cubic cm = 12 ounces

115050 cubic cm = 13 ounces
