If there is one item for sale, and somebody did a quick buy , which means they bought the item, why is auction still open for bidding?? dumb question??

Howard,

It depends. Sometimes QB effects the quantity up for bid, sometimes it does not. They used to say if QB effected it or not, but now it doesn't say. Now you have to look at the auction numbers to determine if QB effects the quantity.

+1 I guess LOL

Sounded good to me.

I would guess if the auction is still up, they're more available.

Sorry,

Fighting the flu and a little incoherent this morning. Let's try again.

It used to be that sometimes a QB would reduce the number of lots available and sometimes it didn't. There would be a statement on the auction as to whether it did or didn't.

Looking at the current QB auctions, I can't find a single one where a QB purchase has reduced the number of lots available, so I would have to say that most of the time it doesn't.
