this guy will only purchase 1 brand/line of cigar from the mother site 5 Vegas Classic. he only smokes other stuff when given to him. I encouraged him to check out CBID and he did. Saved himself about $30 bones on a box of 5 Vegas classic's. cool i was happy i was able to help a BOTL out. He buys a few boxes a month of these for who knows how long, a long time.

I was interested in how they compared to a box purchased at full retail from the mother site. He said damn near EVERY SINGLE ONE had burn issues and he would not be purchasing anymore cigars from CBID. Even after resting 2+ weeks in his humi. He has given me 1 or 2 of his classics and the construction was flawless with no burn issues. I was surprised (kinda) to hear almost all of the gars from the CBID box had issues.

Anyone notice this also? I assume the gars on CBID are slow moving, stragglers from damaged shipments, etc etc, but are they not kept in a controlled environment like the rest of CI's stock? Just curious.

#-o i did peruse through that thread ggod stuff in there. I do agree that some companies are going for quantity rather than quality. cheaper materials, cheaper product, . This one is a little more specific IMHO. I guess what i was asking is has anyone noticed any notable differences in the same cigar they bought from CI that they also bought from CB? Do they ship from the same warehouse?

I've been in their humidor (seriously)

The items from the mothership and from C-bid are all kept in the same humidor. They are the same product.

It may have just been a bad box. Don't know.

Hmm...would this make those "Factory 2nds" cigars sold on C-Bid...more like Factory 3rds? 🤔

Cbid, CI, and "the other place" are not the same. They have no knowledge of each other. PAY NO ATTENTION TO THE MAN BEHIND THE CURTAIN!!!!

Come on guys, give CBid a little slack. Their Chinese factories just don't have the experience yet. The more they roll, the better they'll get. Have a little patience.

Could you imagine the logistics involved in pulling and keeping the thousands of lots CBid sells weekly in a different location? I can pretty much assure you that both companies pull orders from the exact same warehouse location, probably by the same pickers, and packed and shipped by the same shippers.

Either that, or all Cbid lots are kept under Sven’s desk.
