41/2 x 49

Anyone try one or more?

Does the bigger ring change the flavor profile?

I hope so. I never cared for these short fillers and didn't even know they had added this vitola. Interested to know what you find out on these.

I am not going to try anything out until someone I trust reccomends them. I have had some Qunitero around 10 or so years old and they smooth out quite a bit. Still strong flavored, buth much nicer.

The funny thing short filler is you just never know. One of the best cigars I ever smoked was an aged la Corona i was gifted. I figured that the BOTL who gave it to me probably thought it was the same crap I expected it to be. Only thing is, it was one of the top 10 smokes I have ever had in 20 years of cigars. When I mentioned this to my friend, he told me he had bought several boxes at an auction after having tried one. You just never know...

... and as long as we are onto "you just never know", I have a mylar(?) sealed, short filler, Havana that a friend bought in Ontario, Canada about 25 years ago. I never heard of the brand and can't really find anything out about it, but I trust my friend's accuracy and will simply have to put the thing to the test one of these years.

Maybe we could all split a box- or not...
